A storm made the day dark
and lights were required throughout the house.
I settled in my chair with tea and a good book.

lately, you must!
My favorite Sandra Sallas book is
"The Diary of Mattie Spencer"...
but this is a good one too.
This is part of my tea cup collection.
Most of the collection is pink roses
but I couldn't resist this pretty blue rose.

It has been raining on and off around here too! What a pretty set! I'll have to check out that book too! Wish I liked tea! Never could get used to the taste of it!
